The Minnesota Historical Society’s Grants Office is holding presentations around the state and is scheduled for a follow-up presentation on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Louis County Historical Society located in the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center (the Depot), 506 West Michigan Street. The workshop will be held in the Great Hall on the main floor (3rd floor). These public presentations are to present an overview and information as well as updates about competitive grants available through the Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage Grants (MHCH) Program (Legacy Grant Proposal), which is supported by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Participants will learn the following: the purpose of the grants program; basic information on how to apply for a grant; MHCH manual changes as a new version is released at the beginning of each biennium; MHCH application changes for both the standard and structured forms; and be able to ask individual questions about applying for a grant at the end of the presentation. If you have or have not applied for a grant, please join us as there will be general information in the presentation. All are welcome!

Please RSVP to Kathleen Cargill by Friday, August 25, at 218.733.7586 or kathleen@thehistorypeople.org if you would like to attend this important training session.
