Traveling Exhibits Preview

St. Louis County Historical Society announces the first in a rotating series of exhibits recently brought out of storage. Over the coming 15 months, exhibits from the Traveling Exhibit Program will be rotated every few weeks. Celebrated anew will be displays such as A Salute to Servicewomen, To American with Love about Italian immigrants, Roleff’s Forest History Photography, St. Louis County in the Civil War, Marshall Wells Hardware, and Preserving the Old Country – the Experiences of Croatians, Serbians and Slovenians.

There are many other exhibits planned for the coming months. Finns of Western Lake Superior is on exhibit until March 15.

The public may view these in the Traveling Exhibits Alcove, located just outside the Society's main office doors in the Depot. Traveling Exhibits may be loaned, for a nominal fee, to museums, historical societies, schools and colleges and other organizations. Please contact Kathleen Cargill at kathleen@thehistorypeople.org or 733.7586 for more information.
