FREE ADMISSION

This new exhibit which is 1260 sq. ft., tells the story of Douglas County, Wisconsin’s role in the world and at home through what was the year 1918. The exhibit with text and over 60 original artifacts, brings the visitor into WWI with the 32nd Division, the effects of the Spanish Flu epidemic and Superior’s amazing role as a refuge for over 5,000 people escaping the largest forest fire in Minnesota history.
