History in a Pint on September 21, 2021




Veterans Memorial Hall, a program of the St. Louis County Historical Society, and the Lake Superior Railroad Museum announce its next event in the local history discussion series, History in a Pint.

The presentation “Killer Eyes - Korean War” will take place at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum, at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, September 21st.


Dale Erickson, 'B' Company Marines, Korean War Veteran, will speak about his experiences traveling to Camp Pendleton by train for USMC training and deployment to the Korean War.


History in a Pint is a program presented by Veterans Memorial Hall at which a veteran, or a veteran’s story, is presented about their experiences serving in the military while enjoying a pint of beer from a local brewer.


PARKING: Parking is available around the back of the Duluth Depot complex. Follow signage to the North Shore Scenic Railway parking accessible from 4th Ave. West.


All are welcome to attend, ask questions and join in camaraderie. Attendance is free of charge and seating will be available. Beverages will be available for purchase.


Veterans Memorial Hall was established in 1910 and is a joint program of the St. Louis County Historical Society and the military service veterans of northeastern Minnesota with a mission to gather, preserve, interpret, and promote the rich and diverse human experiences of veterans, their families and communities, through museum, archival and educational programs. Its website, www.vets-hall.org, features more than 8,000 veteran stories.
