His images were selected to chronicle the lumber industry in northern Minnesota from 1912 to 1916. In addition, the exhibit contains maps, logging and forest industry artifacts, videos, and interactive pieces which create multi-level experiences for visitors. Balanced information is provided on differing perspectives on forest conservation, management, preservation, and utilization. This offers visitors an opportunity to understand diverse viewpoints toward the forest – both historical and present day. The exhibit is open without charge to museum patrons at the St. Louis County Historical Society located in the historic Depot at 506 West Michigan Street in Duluth, Minnesota. The Depot is open from 10 AM to 5 PM daily.
